My thesis in creation research, is called
THE SPACE BETWEEN [BODY / MACHINE]: The Princess and her Mac.
(in french, Mac means a product of Apple and although a Pimp)
I questioned these spaces of in-between,
during a performance of three years, to realize a tale
and an embroidery tapestry to experiment these "floating"spaces on social networks.
These spaces between presences and machines, seem to open up new ways of being in the world.
Je m'intéresse aux caractéristiques et rôles des espaces où transitent les données, entre les actions des utilisateur.trices et le programme informatique.
La place des corps dans des dispositifs machiniques artistiques devient centrale pour tenter de comprendre comment leurs présences génèrent, dévoilent, des espaces particuliers d'entre-deux que je nomme "flottant" en référence au MA japonais (Augustin Berque) et au moucharabieh (Christine Buci-Glucksmann).
La peinture et la vidéo ont été les interfaces idéales pour dévoiler en temps réel ce qui se passe entre les images (Raymond Bellour) : interroger tout d’abord, l’imbrication des espaces entre les couches d’images ; puis l’organisation et le statut de ces espaces qui s’hybrident entre elles (Françoise Parfait).
Comprendre comment nous passons de l’installation vidéo (où tous les médias étaient dissociés et repérables) à des dispositifs hypermédias (où nous sommes plutôt face à un instant de mise en visibilité d’un réseau de liens, de relations). Quels impacts créent ces dispositifs (Anne-Marie Duguet) hypermédias, ces spatialités ou appréhension de ces nouveaux espaces d’entre-deux sur nos corps, nos représentations, nos individualités ?
